This acrylic painting is part of a five piece series. It's one of two 30"x40" heavy duty canvas in the 5 piece series. Unlike most of my paintings I used entirely bright colors for this series. Just like the painting " Sunset" I didn't use pink as the primary color but opted out into yellow and red with some green added to it. this painting was the first painting in the series and is a good representative for how uncomfortable I am with using the color pink as the primary color. As with all my paintings I added most of the paint at the beginning of the process to the canvas and then used different sizes of pallet knifes and water to move the paint and blend the colors straight on the canvas. Once I was done, I added some gold glitter to the still wet paint on the canvas. To this day I'm not sure why I felt the need to do this and can only lough when thinking about it. After the paint dried, I used a black fine-liner and added the lines, to give the movement a specific direction.
The painting is not framed but would make an even better eye-catcher with the right framing.
